The Hunter Disability Expo is a FREE Event.
It is set to be the biggest and most anticipated Disability Expo on the 2020 Hunter Calendar. The National Disability Insurance Scheme has now rolled out across most of NSW, and thousands of residents with disabilities from the greater Hunter region have gained greater control over their lives and will be on the lookout for the most suitable services in their local area to meet their individual needs.

It is unique in its celebration of cultural diversity with a spectacular day-long program of entertainment presented by over 30 groups from different cultural backgrounds. Thousands of children and their families participate in the day’s activities. At a time when the NSW sector is adapting to the changed landscape bought about by the NDIS, a new quality and safeguarding framework and a Disability Royal Commission, this two-day conference will bring together people with disability, disability service providers, industry experts and government to explore the conference theme: 'What matters most'.
The NSW Conference 2020 will encourage us to reflect on what matters most for people with disability, the sector, our current and future workforce and our communities.
Featuring local and national speakers and engaging workshops, the conference will provide a forum to consider and share what is most important to our sector now and into the future.
